Tofu is spongy and absorbent so you don’t really need to add extra ingredients to make the coconut flakes stick to it.

This healthy Coconut Crusted Tofu recipes includes only 3 steps:

Step 1: Cut up tofu into small squares.

Step 2: Toss it in coconut flakes in a large bowl to coat evenly. 

Step 3: Bake it.

Ingredients
  • 1 block extra-firm tofu
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
  1. Instructions:
  2. Heat oven to 375 F / 200 C.
  3. Cut tofu into small squares. There is no need to squeeze the water.
  4. In a large bowl combine coconut flakes and tofu. Toss tofu to coat it with coconut flakes.
  5. Place tofu on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Serving suggestions: over rice, in a salad, in a sandwich.
