Jump start your morning with decadent Morning Mocha Breakfast Smoothie. Added chilled coffee and cacao gives a good amount of caffeine to help you wake up and take on the world!
This Morning Mocha Breakfast Smoothie is such a perfect smoothie that doubles down as breakfast. So easy to make and you’ll be out of the door in less than seven minutes (which includes cleaning the blender 😉 )
A useful tip – you can make any smoothie a breakfast smoothie if you add oats to it. I’m not sure if an official breakfast smoothie definition exists, but to me it simply means that the smoothie has enough nutrients and calories to keep you full through lunch. Or least the morning snack.
For this breakfast smoothie I decided to add some rich unsweetened cacao powder to turn it into a decadent mocha. Without all the bad calories. I mean, could it get any better than that?

Rich and decadent Morning Mocha Breakfast Smoothie has all the good nutrients, caffeine and healthy calories to start your morning!
- 1 banana
- 1/2 - 1 cup chilled coffee or cold brew (the more coffee you add the thinner your smoothie will be)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
